Three Remain For Stutz

With the November signing period rapidly approaching, a number of 2008 prospects are making their college decisions. Garrett Stutz will announce his in the near future.

Garrett Stutz has done his homework. The 6-foot-11, 225-pound big man took a handful of visits, has narrowed his list of schools to three and is now prepping to make his college decision.

According to Stutz' father, Bill, the 6-foot-11, 225-pound big man has cut his list of schools to Southern Methodist, Wichita State and Kentucky. The Wildcats are the only school of the three that hasn't offered.

Stutz, a standout at Kansas City (Miss.) North Kansas City, traveled to schools the past few weekends. His last three trips just happen to be the schools that still remain on his list.

Midnight madness weekend, Stutz took in Kentucky's festivities. The next weekend he tripped to SMU and then this past weekend he was at Wichita State to see what they have to offer.

"As of right now, he's not [taking anymore visits]," Bill Stutz said. "Those were the last three weekend visits that we've had."

"I think he probably will [decide] by this time next week," the elder Stutz said. "I'm leaning towards that. I'm not saying I'm 100-percent sure, but I think he has all of the information that he needs and now he's praying about it and is trying to get a clear cut feel for where he's supposed to go."
