"I just came back from Texas," Evans said. "It was good down there. It's a big place down there. The football team won the game while I was down there and it was real packed. The campus was pretty good and I liked their gym."
The Longhorns as well as Louisville, Villanova, Connecticut, Seton Hall and Memphis make up his list of six schools. Having seen each school but the Tigers, Evans is hoping to visit them and another school in the near future.
Following his second trip to Louisville, Evans plans to narrow his list of schools down to a pair. Then he'll likely make his decision shortly after.
The Aston (Pa.) American Christian School standout has been immersed in the recruiting process since he was in eighth grade and it will be coming to an end relatively soon. He's enjoyed the process, but is certainly looking forward to getting it over with.
"At first it was big to me, but now that I'm used to it it's not a big deal," he said. "I do get tired of it sometimes when people ask me what school I'm going to, but I just tell them ‘I don't know yet.'"
Although a decision could come in the fall, Scout.com's 4th ranked prospect ruled out signing during the November period, which runs from November 14th through November 21st.
Evans said each of the six schools involved in his recruitment have been by American Christian recently to watch him workout.
