To go with the Scarlet Knights and Panthers, Miller is also getting strong interest from a number of other schools, according to his guardian Frank Rutherford.
"He's getting interest from Temple and St. John's, they have both offered," he said. "He's also getting interest from DePaul, Kentucky, Texas A&M and the list continues to grow. We are just looking for the right fit for him."
Although a number of prospects are making commitments and looking to sign in the early period, it looks like Miller plans to wait.
"I'm probably going to wait until the spring," the 6-foot-8, 220-pound post prospect said.
While Miller said he will definitely wait, his guardian is looking at the decision differently.
"We are open to either," Rutherford said. "We are just trying to find the best fit, wherever that falls. We aren't looking at it that way, I know college coaches like to look at it that way.
"A lot of people are really after him since the late part of the summer and a lot people are still coming in," he said. "We are just looking for the best fit, whether it is early or late."
Miller was named breakout performer at the inaugural RBK U camp this past July. He showed an ability to get up and down the floor as well as score in the paint. His high school coach, Keith White, explained why college coaches are so interested.
"He's got good athleticism and he can definitely run the floor for a 6-8 kid," the St. Pius X coach said. "He's got a 16 to 18-foot jump shot that is pretty good for a big guy."
Miller checked in at No. 39 on the most recent power forward list.
