Falcons Get Their Man

The Air Force Academy is riding high after taking a commitment from a young man with connection to a service academy and versatility to help the program.

Jeff Reynolds' Air Force program dipped into Kentucky and scored a recruit with connections to the military. On Tuesday, 6-foot-5 forward Taylor Stewart committed to the Falcons after visiting the program over the weekend.

"Taylor's grandfather was a colonel in the army," Lexington Catholic head coach Brandon Salsman said. "He comes from a military family and it's such a great academic institution. Plus, Taylor can learn to fly jets and Jeff Reynolds is a great coach. They went above and beyond."

As a junior, Stewart averaged 16.4 points and 7.4 boards a game. He visited Old Dominion, William & Mary and Army.
