The Storm Is Over

Storm Warren recently decommitted from a Big 12 program and it didn't take him long to find another school. Warren is headed to the Southeastern Conference.

After decommitting from Baylor just two week ago, Storm Warren has found his fit. The 6-foot-8 power forward gave LSU a verbal commitment on Wednesday.

"It's a good fit for me," Warren said. "I can see myself down there and see myself in that program. It's not too far from home and I can get back and forth from home with no problem. They have great coaches, it's just the place for me."

Warren had committed to Baylor in late August, but towards the end of October he said he was having doubts about his commitment to the Bears and wanted to find a school closer to home. After visiting the Tigers this past weekend, Warren saw all he needed to see.

"I just wanted to take a look at LSU and see if that went well," he said. "If it didn't go well then I was going to open up my recruitment to everybody, but first I wanted to see how LSU was going to go and I liked it."

Warren will sign his Letter of Intent at a press conference on Wednesday at Monroe (La.) Richwood.

LSU has strung together an impressive recruiting class, as Warren will join J'Mison Morgan, Delwan Graham and Dennis Harris to make up the Tigers 2008 recruiting class.
