Shannon Picks Up Offers

Terrence Shannon may be undersized for the post, but he's still effective, as he has a motor that is hard to top. The 2009 prospect recently updated Scout.com on his recruitment.

Scholarship offers are rolling in for Terrence Shannon. This past summer, Shannon made his mark with the Atlanta Celtics 16's team and college coaches certainly took notice.

"I think I stepped up towards the end [of the summer] as far as rebounding and just running the floor," the 6-foot-6, 205-pound power forward said. "I brought a lot of energy to the team."

Shannon, who's known as a high-energy guy that hits the glass on both ends, claims scholarship offers from Clemson, LSU, Georgia, Florida State and Xavier.

To go with his offers, the Forsyth (Ga.) Mary Persons standout is also hearing from Florida, Kentucky, Texas, West Virginia, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, Nebraska, Marquette and Virginia Tech.

"I've been to Tennessee, Xavier, Georgia and Auburn," Shannon said. "I liked all of them."

Shannon, who is rated as a three star prospect on Scout.com, doesn't plan on making his college decision until sometime next year.
