Peyton Siva, 5-11 JR PG Seattle (Wash.) Franklin, is an explosive lead guard who is starting to develop as a distributor. Siva has always had the abiilty to score, but he's now starting to show improved decision-making. With continued development, he has a chance to be one of the elite guards in the west for 2009.
I spoke with Siva recently and he told me four schools are at the top of his list.
"Louisville, Arizona, Washington and Kansas -- they're all up there," said Siva. "Those are the four main schools I'm looking at."
I asked Siva what the biggest factors will be in his decision.
"Playing time and whatever school gives me the best opportunity to reach my goals -- help me get to the next level," said Siva. "Location doesn't matter."
Siva has been to Arizona for the Wildcats' Elite Camp and he's been to local school Washington for unofficial visits. I asked him if he has any plans to visit the other two schools on his list.
"I'm thinking about going with my AAU coach to Louisville," said Siva. "It would probably be next month if we go."
Siva said he plans on making his decision during the summer. He told me he has a 3.5 GPA.
