Jennings Develops Favorites

Milton Jennings is starting develop a handful of favorites. Although the talented power forward is focused on the high school season, he's starting to look at the recruiting process a little more.

Milton Jennings is off to a great start this year for Summerville (S.C) Pinewood Prep. The Panthers have won 15 of their 19 games and Jennings is leading the way with 19 points and 10 boards per contest.

The 6-foot-9 junior is having the best season of his career even with the recruiting process weighing on him. Recently one of the schools dropped off his list and a few others have made their way to the top.

"First of all I don't have North Carolina anymore, but I really like Clemson, Florida, South Carolina, Georgetown and UCLA," Jennings said. "That's where I'm at right now."

"I have some high interest in Florida. I like Clemson and Florida a lot right now. I went to Clemson the other day. I got a chance to go up there when they played North Carolina and I got to see a great game."

Jennings Develops List
The Tigers made Jennings a priority recruit early on and it seems to be paying off as they are among his top two schools. Jennings did, however, make it clear that he likes their program because they are on the up tick.

"I'm a Clemson guy," Jennings said. "I like them a lot. They are on the up rise. Coach Purnell has them doing something good right now. I really like that about their program, he has them going up in the ACC.

The Gators also stepped up their efforts with Jennings and he liked what he saw during his visit to Gainesville in early November.

"They've been recruiting me pretty hard and I got a chance to go up there during football season when they played Vandy," Jennings said. "I really like that staff up there - Coach Shyatt and Coach Preston and Coach Donovan. I like them all a lot."

"They have a nice facility up there and I really like the coaches a lot," he continued. "I'm friends with a couple of the guys from Nike camp, that they brought in, so it was pretty cool to see them again."

Jennings, who plans to play with the Beach Ball Select travel program this coming spring, hopes to hash out a decision prior to AAU season.

"I'm probably going to make my decision at the end of the basketball season and right before AAU starts. It's going to be my last year and I want to play and continue to get good and play against good people and not have to stress out about what college I'm going to."

Jennings checked in at No. 35 overall in Scout.com's latest rankings.
