AROUND THE NATION – Luke Babbitt became his state's all-time leading scorer this week. We've got updates on Terrico White's 41 points and Demar DeRozan's 35 point effort.

Desert Pines 77, Reno 67 -- Luke Babbitt is the all-time leading scorer in Nevada history. Babbitt's 31 points gave him 2,622 for his career.

Compton 71, L.B. Poly 65 -- The all-time leading score in the Moore League was at it again Tuesday night. USC signee Demar DeRozan led the Tarbabes with 35 points.

Pleasant Grove 50, Mortimer 36 -- We didn't know Corey Smith didn't sign with Alabama State in the early period. Apparently Miami, Ole Miss and Tennessee have been keeping tabs on the senior center. He put up 26 points and 12 rebounds in the win.

Libbey 72, St. Edward 58 -- Two days ago Ohio State-bound wing William Buford put 26 points and 11 rebounds on a Delvon Roe-less St. Edward. Roe's teammate Tom Pritchard was in foul trouble and was limited to 9 points and 6 rebounds.

Marshall 69, Farragut 65 -- Michael Dunigan scored 24 points, grabbed 5 boards and swatted 9 shots. However, it wasn't enough as Ryan Hare pumped in 15 points to lead Marshall past Farragut.

N. Crowley 64, Legacy 53 -- Willie Warren's team ran its winning streak to 20 games. Warren, a Top 25 prospect in the senior class, led the No. 2 5A team with 29 points.

Pace 94, American Heritage 70 -- Ray Shipman's stellar senior sendoff continued as he hung 29 points on American Heritage in a TV game. Kenny Boynton scored 44 in the setback; Rakeem Buckles managed 17 for the winners. American Heritage was without two players who did not play in the game.

Craigmont 104, Bartlett 72 -- The Ole Miss Rebels are smoking hot and so is one of their recruits. Wing Terrico White has pumped in big numbers as a senior. Tuesday night White went for a white-hot 41 points in his team's win.

Brownsburg 76, Ben Davis 57 -- One of the better MAC signees had a big night. Miami-OH pledge Julian Mavunga hung 25 and 14 on his opponent. Mavunga's team is 9-3 on the year.

Washington 59, Morton 42 -- Matt Roth is the state's all-time leader in consecutive games with a made 3-point basket. The Indiana signee dropped a 3-point in 84 straight contests.

Pinnacle 74, Horizon 51 -- Arizona State's having a big year in the Pac-10 and one of their signees is performing well. Taylor Rohde stroked 4 3-pointers. The forward wound up with 47 points.

Centennial 58, Northview 56 -- This one would have been fun to watch. Senior Ralph Sampson busted out 21 points and junior Lorenzo Brown countered with 25.

Shores Christian 66, Trinity Episcopal 54 -- Coming off a loss at the hands of Ed Davis and Benedictine, Steven Pledger and his crew rebounded. Pledger poured in 27 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore running mate Andre Dawkins chipped in with 12.

DeLaSalle 66, Patrick Henry 64 -- Royce White got it done. With 29 seconds remaining White came up with the game-winner and finished with 33 points.

South Medford 73, Sheldon 55 -- Kyle's gone but E.J.'s still around. E.J. Singler, a junior, led South Medford with 26 points. Teammate Michael Harthun had 23 of his own.

St. Charles West 57, Hazelwood Central 48 -- Kramer Soderberg, the son of former St. Louis coach Brad Soderberg, is having a strong senior sendoff. Tuesday night Soderberg scored 30 points to help his team to a victory.
