Aggies Land First Commitment

The New Mexico State Aggies picked up their first high school commitment of the year. Now, they'll look toward the junior college ranks for more help inside.

Fisher Picks Aggies

David Fisher, a small forward with the Team Texas Elite AAU program, recently committed to Lou Henson's New Mexico State Aggies. Fisher attends Dallas South Oak Cliff High School.

Fisher, a fine athlete who has a penchant for rebounding, is the first commitment of the Aggies this year and he's very likely to be the school's lone high school commitment.

Our information says New Mexico State has two to three scholarships remaining for the current class. We think New Mexico State will use its remaining scholarships on junior college interior players.

For instance, we believe they are involved with Joe Works out of Garden City JC, Brannon Hayes from Lee Junior College and Oswaldo Gonzales of Jacksonville Junior College in Texas.
