Andrew Bock, 6-1 JR PG Rialto (Calif.) Eisenhower, is having a solid junior season and several schools have taken notice.
I spoke with Bock recently and he gave me a list of schools that have expressed interest in him.
"Washington State, Washington, San Diego State, Santa Clara, Missouri, Stanford, Utah and Portland," said Bock.
Bock said Portland has offered a scholarship.
When I asked if any schools stand out for him, Bock replied, "I like Washington State. I like their style of play."
Bock talked a little about the issues that are important to him in choosing a school.
"Good academics, a good atmosphere, the style of play," said Bock. "Location isn't important."
I asked Bock which schools have shown the most interest in him so far.
"Santa Clara, San Diego State and Washington," said Bock.
Bock said he's not close to reaching a decision.
"I'll probably decide after the summer," said Bock.
Bock told me he has a 3.4 GPA.
