Hogs, Mizzou Fighting Over Famutimi
"I'm sure he'll probably do something this week," Chris Grier head coach of the Michigan Hurricanes said on Monday. "Olu will probably have a decision by Wednesday."
With that said, Missouri and Arkansas have distanced themselves from Memphis at this juncture. "There are some strengths with both of them," Grier said. "Both were good visits. It could go either way."
Grier sad they'll figure out his decision and then set a date for the announcement.
Things are getting kind of interesting in the recruiting world and Missouri seems to be right in the middle of a number of situations. Our information has Luol Deng deciding next week. What's interesting is if Famutimi were to commit to Missouri. Would that take Deng out of the mix with the Tigers? Probably.
"We don't much about that," Grier said. "Missouri doesn't discuss it with us so it isn't really a factor. I guess that if Deng committed I'm not sure they'd be recruiting Olu anymore." That statement might be able to go both ways. If Famutimi commits, it would seen unrealistic that Missouri could also land Deng.
And you thought October was a slow month for recruiting information?
