Dane Miller is officially off the board. The 6-foot-6 forward verballed to a Big East program after claiming them as his favorite earlier in the week.
On Wednesday evening Dane Miller
told Scout.com that the Scarlet Knights were out in front. It didn't take too long for him to go ahead and give them a verbal commitment, as he committed to Rutgers
"I like the way coach Hill coaches all his players, they want a lot from them," Miller told The Star-Ledger. "That's one thing, and they run a lot, they work hard, they make the players better. I went down there and I felt comfortable."
Miller, a standout at Henrietta (N.Y.) Rush-Henrietta, was in the midst of a big junior season. The talented three-star prospect is currently averaging 21 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists per game.
Miller picked Rutgers over interest from Providence, Cincinnati, St. Johns, Nebraska, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
