Siva Takes Visit; Plans To Wait Out Process

Peyton Siva found time out in the middle of the season to take a trip across the country. The talented lead man updated on his recent visit and where he stands overall.

It's usually tough for prospects to take visits this time of year, but Peyton Siva made it possible this weekend. The talented 5-foot-11 point guard traveled across the country to take in one of the biggest games of the week – Georgetown at Louisville.

"I went to the game and I watched them practice," Siva said. "The game was exciting. It was packed, they had a whiteout and they got a big win, so everyone went crazy. Then the practices have been good. They really work hard."

The Cardinals are one of four schools that Siva consistently lists. Kansas, Arizona and Washington are also in the fold and he's considering taking a visit to the Big 12 representative in the near future.

"Arizona has been recruiting me hard and Kansas wants me to come out there for a visit," Siva said. "I don't know if I'm going to go out there until March. Arizona came up to my school and they've been keeping in contact a lot."

The four-star prospect has already made unofficial visits to Washington and Arizona. His trip to Wildcat country was for their elite camp in mid-August. Going forward, Siva said he plans to wait out the process.

"I'm probably going to go ahead and wait until after the high school season and make a decision this summer," Siva, who checked in at No. 34 in the most recent junior rankings, said.

"I'm still thinking about waiting it out, but I like Louisville," he continued. "I like them a lot now. I'm just pretty much still open, but Louisville I like them a lot right now."

Siva, a standout at Seattle (Wash.) Franklin, is averaging 19 points, six assists and four rebounds per game this season.
