Tim Harris, 6-4 JR SG San Jose (Calif.) Valley Christian, gave us an update recently on his recruitment.
"I'm hearing from San Diego, Santa Clara, San Diego State, Utah, Pepperdine and Nebraska," said Harris. "I'm also getting some mail from Washington, Gonzaga, Oregon and Kansas."
When asked which programs have offered, Harris said, "San Diego, Santa Clara, San Diego State and Pepperdine."
I asked Harris if he has a feel for which program is recruiting him the hardest.
"Santa Clara has been on me the hardest," said Harris.
Harris talked a little about the factors he's looking at in making his choice.
"Location -- I think I want to stay in the west. My parents want me within a two-hour plane ride," said Harris. "Education, of course, is important. I'd like to play past college, but I know that realistically that's hard. And I want to go someplace where I can play."
Harris still has a ways to go with the process of choosing a school.
"I'll probably play in July, then decide in August or September," said Harris.
Harris said he has a 3.0 GPA.
