"Coach Alford was excited. He wanted me to make sure. He was real cool about it. He was excited when I was in his office. "
Adams runs with the New Mexico Force and coach Ross Romero. "They offered him, I want to say, two or three months ago," Romero said. Remaining close to his family was something important to Adams. Even if he only had one offer (he had many) and it provided him with a chance to be close to home, he would have been happen. However, as a junior, he had a plethora of opportunities and found New Mexico to be perfect for him.
"As far as I know they want me to be a swing man on the wing. They want me to work hard and be a big part of their team – produce points, help defensively. I have to be a good student and stay on top of everything too."
