Jones Is Back On The Market

After committing to Louisville last April, Lamont "MoMo" Jones is opening up his recruitment. The combo guard plans to explore other options.

Lamont Jones is no longer committed to the University of Louisville. The 6-foot guard out of Aston (Pa.) American Christian opened up his recruitment on Tuesday.

"He never went through the whole process," Tony Bergeron told the New York Post. "He didn't really look at all of his options."

This past weekend Jones played in the Neutral Zone Hoops Showcase in Louisville (Ky.). In a press conference before the event, Jones denied rumors that he and Louisville had parted ways.

Then Rick Pitino showed up at the event on Saturday to watch Samardo Samuels and St. Benedict, who played the game before American Christian. Louisville's head man left before A.C. took the floor.

Jones is rated as a three-star prospect on Scout.com
