The 6-foot-3 shooting guard averaged 25 points for Chicago's Crane High School as a senior. He made waves in the summer on the AAU circuit, draining a game-winner in Las Vegas.
Dixon was taken by Cronin's rapport with his players and how that translates to game situations. "Coach lets them play. He's got no restrictions on them and he lets them play to their strengths."
The Bearcats, according to Dixon, see him as a combo. Admittedly, his strength now is as a scorer though he should be able to provide the Bearcats with another secondary option at the position; he plays point for his high school team.
"They have only one guard coming in and two senior guards who are graduating. I can come in and play."
