McFadden Exploring Options
Brian McFadden, 5-11 SR PG Lakewood (Calif.) Mayfair, has received serious interest from Cal State Fullerton, Humboldt and Colgate, but he told us last night that he won't choose a school until spring. "I'm going to play the season out and see what happens," said McFadden. "I'll wait until spring." McFadden was leaning to St. Mary's after taking a trip there, but the Gaels got a commitment from Arizona point guard Daniel Waddy, thus ending their recruitment of McFadden. We asked McFadden if there were any schools in particular that he liked at this time and he replied, "I like San Diego, but I don't think they're taking a point guard." McFadden is a solid student and won't have any trouble qualifying.
