Coleman Polishes off His Season

A lot of kids fashion themselves as scorers; few meet the criteria. Adrien Coleman, a junior out of Georgia, has a track record of getting buckets.

Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson junior Adrien Coleman completed his season with a 24-7 mark. The 6-foot-3 scorer pumped in over 20 points a game and his team wound up in the Elite 8.

"It went pretty good," Coleman. "There were a lot of ups and downs but we came together as a team. "

As a member of the Georgia Stars, Coleman drew attention for his prowess as a scorer. Finding the bottom of the net is what he does best and programs are always looking for a kid that can turn the scoreboard.

"(Colleges) told me that I'm a shooting guard or a point guard, one of the two. I'm most confident at the shooting guard because I'm versatile and I can get around anybody."

Clemson, LSU, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Western Kentucky and South Alabama blitzed him this season and took a peak at his game. Kansas State has recently begun dropping phone calls to his coach.

"I'm looking at a place where I can pretty much come in and play and get a good education and work hard."

Shouldn't be a problem.
