Bruins, Hoosiers Have Inside Track
Last weekend, Phaler visited UCLA. "He came back and talked and to me and his high school coach [on Monday]," Walt Phaler, Sean's father said. "All three of us are going to meet for dinner on Thursday and hopefully arrive at a decision."
The question surrounding Phaler now deals with what will be important to him in making the final call. "Believe it or not, if it was just pure basketball he'd go to Indiana," Walt said. "He's looking beyond basketball. Yes, he would like to play at the next level. He was saying that he's got to look at what's going to be good … if he wants to go into business … to me that shows a lot of maturity. He'll also look at how well he gets along with the players on the team and the coaching staff."
Sounds like Phaler should have a decision by week's end.
