"I'm on the visit," Hopson said. "My momma gave me her consent (to commit). I'm in a great position and I'm going to make the best of it."
The McDonald's All-American was part of a significant recruiting saga when he backed off an early commitment to the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
Tennessee's class now included Hopson and three other players. Top 100 forward Renaldo Woolridge, late blooming guard Daniel West and center Phillip Jurick comprise this year's class.
The big addition is obviously Hopson. A multi-faceted wing player, Hopson is adept off the bounce and behind the line. He'll be counted on for immediate points and will be the highest-rated recruit in the SEC next season.
