Anthony Marshall, 6-1 JR SG Las Vegas (Nev.) Mojave, is one of the better guards in the west for 2009. A tough and sound defender, Marshall has a solid stroke and a good feel for the game.
I spoke with Marshall recently and asked about the programs that have been showing him the most interest.
"I have offers from UNLV, Colorado State, Miami, Virginia, Gonzaga, Washington State and Washington," said Marshall. "My coach has been hearing some from Baylor also. Those are the main ones right now."
I asked Marshall if he has a favorite.
"No, I'm pretty much wide open," said Marshall.
Marshall has already taken unofficial visits to UNLV and Colorado State. He said he may be taking another visit soon.
"I'm supposed to visit Miami sometime in the next couple weeks," said Marshall.
Marshall said he's not really close to making a decision.
"I'll probably play in the spring and summer, then start cutting down my list," said Marshall.
