Lorne Jackson, 6-1 SR PG/SG Simi Valley (Calif.) High, was one of the top unsigned players in the west this spring. However, Jackson is now off the board after signing with Pepperdine today, according to a press release issued by the family.
Jackson's recruitment picked up this year after a terrific senior season. Jackson showed the ability to run a team, as well as get his own shot, and his versatility should be a big asset for the Waves.
George Mason, American, San Diego and Portland, among others, were some of the schools expressing interest in Jackson prior to his signing with Pepperdine.
