2010 Big Man Pops To Big Ten School

Prospects are making decision early these days. The most recent commitment is 2010 standout Evan Anderson, as he opted to commit to a Big Ten program late Saturday night.

Evan Anderson, of Eau Claire (Wisc.) North, jumped into the recruiting process early and now Scout.com's 2nd ranked big man has decided to end his recruitment early. Anderson committed to Wisconsin late Saturday night.

"He really liked the staffs at Boston College, Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina and UCLA," Anderson's AAU coach Ritchie Davis said. "But he really believes that Bo Ryan will be the head coach at Wisconsin during his entire collegiate career."

"He also really likes the direction that Coach Ryan has the program going and the success they have experienced the past 6-7 seasons," he continued.

Anderson, who is ranked No. 10 overall, is the second 2010 prospect to commit to the Badgers in the past week. Bo Ryan picked up Vander Blue, of Madison (Wisc.) Memorial, earlier this week.

This past season as a sophomore Anderson averaged 10 points and six rebounds per contest for the Huskies.
