New Offers For Avery Bradley

Avery Bradley, one of the top junior guards in the west, is drawing interest from most of the Pac-10 after his terrific performances during the April evaluation period...

Avery Bradley, 6-2 JR SG Tacoma (Wash.) Bellarmine Prep, is an athletic slasher who plays with great energy. He's an outstanding defender for a high school player and his outside shot shows noticeable improvement from a year ago. With continued development, he has a chance to be an elite, high major prospect.

I spoke with Bradley recently and asked him about the schools that interest him.

"I'm looking at all of the Pac-10 schools and also Oklahoma right now," said Bradley. "Out of the Pac-10 schools, I really like UCLA, Washington, USC and Arizona. UCLA just offered and I like them – that's a good school. I'm going to their camp in June."

I asked Bradley if he has any other unofficial visits planned.

"The only school I've been to so far is Washington," said Bradley. "I think I'm also going to USC in June."

Bradley talked a little about the factors that will influence his decision.

"I want to go where I can play right away when I get there," said Bradley. "Someplace that will help me get to the next level."

I asked Bradley if he has a timeframe for his decision.

"When I talk to my Mom and coach, it's usually about the end of summer," said Bradley. "I want to get it done before my senior year so I don't have to worry about recruiting."

Bradley said he currently has a 2.6 GPA.
