TCU Picks Up Guard

Jim Christian locked up a guard this past weekend. Ronnie Moss, who was once one of his signees at Kent State, plans to play for him next season.

Last October, Ronnie Moss gave Jim Christian and his Kent State staff a verbal commitment, but following his departure at Kent, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound guard applied for his release.

After picking up a handful of scholarship offers, Moss, a 2008 prospect, turned to Christian again. This time was more of a homecoming for Moss as he grew up just ten minutes from the Horned Frogs campus.

"I actually took a visit this weekend," Moss said. "I loved it. That's my hometown and I love everything about it. God is good."

The Houston (Tex.) Christian Life product signed to play for TCU during his visit.

"When I found out that he'd got a job at TCU I didn't know how my mom would feel about it because we had settled down with Kent State, but my family was more excited with TCU than Kent State."

Moss, who also considered South Alabama and St. John's, said he averaged 14 points, six assists and five rebounds this past season.
