Devin Ebanks made his decision official and he's decided to take his game to the Big East conference.
After picking up a release from Indiana
in late March, Devin Ebanks
went through the recruiting process for the second time. He then took a handful of visits and on Sunday morning he ended his recruitment, according to FOXSports.com's Jeff Goodman
``I really respect Coach (Bob) Huggins and I trust what he's saying," Ebanks told Goodman, who is the senior college basketball writer for FOXSports.com. "I also feel like I can make an impact quickly at West Virginia."
The Oakdale (Conn.) St. Thomas More standout checked in at No. 13 overall and No. 4 at the small forward spot in Scout.com's most recent rankings. Ebanks was highest rated prospect still available.
Adding Ebanks to Bob Huggins 2008 recruiting haul puts their class among the nations best. The 6-foot-8 forward joins Kevin Jones, Roscoe Davis and Darryl Bryant to make up their incoming class.
"I enjoyed my visit to West Virginia and just feel as though it's the best situation for me," Ebanks said.
Ebanks picked West Virginia over Memphis, Texas and Rutgers.
