Negedu Gets Release; Has List Of Four

Emmanuel Negedu recently informed Arizona that he wanted to be released and his wish was granted.

Emmanul Negedu is officially a recruitable athlete.

This past weekend Negedu informed Arizona that he wanted to be released from his Letter of Intent, and on Tuesday he was granted that release.

"I just got a text saying that Emmanuel got his release," Mark Adams, who was Negedu's AAU coach, said.

According to Wolfeboro (N.H.) Brewster Academy coach Jason Smith, Negedu will choose from a list of four schools -- Georgia Tech, Indiana, Memphis and Tennessee.

"I don't imagine him doing anything until June 1st," Smith said when asked about visits. "He's in finals here. He's got prom Thursday and graduation on Saturday and the dead period starts on Wednesday night."

When Negedu made his initial decision he picked Arizona over Indiana and Tennessee. Negedu is ranked No. 71 overall by Scout.com and is No. 22 on the power forward list.
