Hulls Picks Local School

After a big showing during AAU ball, Jordan Hulls opted to end his recruitment. He plans to play in the Big 10.

The new Indiana staff didn't waste any time hitting the recruiting trail, and they are starting to reap the rewards. Tuesday evening they picked up Jordan Hulls, of Bloomington (Ind.) South.

"He did commit," a source close to the situation said.

Hulls had a great junior season, but his recruitment really took off during the spring AAU circuit playing with Indiana Elite. At the Pitt Jam Fest, in April, he had a few strong showings in front of an Indiana assistant and the Hoosiers offered soon after.

Hulls is the fourth 2009 prospect to commit to the Hoosiers. He joins Derek Elston, of Tipton (Ind.) High, Maurice Creek, of South Kent (Conn.) School, and Bobby Capobianco, of Loveland (Ohio) High.

The three-star prospect picked Indiana over interest from Purdue, Duke, Stanford, Michigan and Davidson.
