Jordan Mackie, 6-3 JR SG Los Angeles (Calif.) Dorsey, is a good-looking wing prospect with length and good quickness. Mackie hasn't received a lot of recruiting attention yet, but he has the tools to be a player at the mid major level.
I spoke with Mackie recently and he told me a few schools have expressed interest so far.
"San Diego called last week and I've been getting mail from UNLV, Northridge, Miami and Oregon," said Mackie.
I asked Mackie what he's looking for in a school.
"Just being comfortable, someplace with a family environment," said Mackie. "The location doesn't really matter as long as it's a good opportunity. I'd like to play early, but I'm okay with sitting if I have to.
Mackie said he has a 2.9 GPA and he's waiting for the results on his SAT.
