Jones Looking To Bear Down On Decision

"Bear" Jones can stroke it deep and that's why he's a commodity. If Jones can get his grades in order there are plenty of teams who would like to sign him.

There aren't but a few members of the Class of 2008 still out there. Eshaunte Jones, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard, is one of them.

The Chatham (Va.) Hargrave Military post-grad and native of Indiana committed to Oregon State but the Beavers let their coach go, forcing the guard to re-evaluate his process. At this stage, a few programs have moved to the forefront.

"He's going to probably visit Baylor, probably Memphis and he's going to visit Nebraska," Blessed IJN coach Eric Vaughn told "He went to St. Louis unofficially."

"Bear" Jones, ranked the No. 18 post-graduate player in the Class of 2009, isn't quite ready for college yet. According Vaughn, Jones has work to do in the classroom.

"As soon as he gets eligible he'll take all his visits and make a decision. His will be one of the latest ones yet. He takes his ACT next week. He's got to finish up some class work.

"He's just looking for the best fit. It's late in the game now and he's got to take care of business in the classroom."
