Oliver Makes The Call

Brian Oliver had a pair of ACC schools high on his list and made a Father's Day decision.

Father's Day took on new meaning for Brian Oliver, a small forward out of Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill Academy.

The 6-foot-6 former New Castle (Del.) William Penn standout committed to an ACC school. "Brian has committed to Georgia Tech," Oliver's mother relayed in an email.

At last weekend's Chris Paul Elite Backcourt Camp, Oliver indicated that Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech were moving toward the top of his list.

Last year, Oliver joined Oak Hill midway through the season. He's known for his ability to play behind the line and has strong touch and range for a 6-foot-6 forward.

Oliver is ranked a 3-star recruit per Scout.com and the No. 22 small forward in the Class of 2009.
