Four Remain For Pepper

Dalton Pepper, who is ranked No. 25 on's shooting guard list, has narrowed his list of schools and is preparing to take a few college visits.

For Dalton Pepper the recruiting process is starting to settle down. After examining the schools recruiting him, the 6-foot-5, 215-pound wing has narrowed his list down to just a few.

"Right now I'm down to West Virginia, Villanova, Wake Forest and Miami," the Fairless Hills (Pa.) Pennsbury standout said.

Pepper, who is rated as a four-star prospect on, claimed scholarship offers from each school involved.

The next step for Pepper is to take a few more visits. He's already taken an unofficial visit to Villanova. West Virginia is next in line and he's planning to visit them in the next few weeks.

Pepper broke down his final schools and explained why they are still in the mix.

"West Virginia, I just like Coach [Bob] Huggins," Pepper said. "I've talked to him a couple of times and I like him. I'm supposed to take a visit up there next weekend."

"With Villanova it's close to home. Jay Wright is a good guy."

"Wake Forest I heard has a really nice campus and it's in the ACC. I'm going to go to Wake Forest in the middle of the summer."

"Miami is in the ACC and it's good competition."

Pepper doesn't have a timetable on when he wants to make his collegiate decision.
