Solomon Hill, the 6-6 small forward from Los Angeles (Calif.) Fairfax, has seen his stock rise this spring and summer, and it has translated into some considerable recruiting interest, including some scholarship offers.

Hill recently cracked the top 100, coming in at #99 in the most recent update, but there are some who think that is still underestimating the talented wing. Hill still has a developing outside jumper, which makes some scouts overlook him. He's a "point forward" type, with good passing ability to go along with exceptional ball-handling. He's also a very good defender.

Having taken notice are Arizona, Illinois, USC and Kansas State, who, according to Hill, have recently offered him a scholarship. Oregon State, Utah, San Diego, San Diego State and UNLV have also offered.

He said that UCLA is now starting to show more interest. "Their coaches have just started calling me recently," Hill said.

Hill's also received interest from Texas, Kentucky, Gonzaga and Washington State.

What is he looking for in a program? "Defenses," Hill said. "I feel one of my strengths is that I can guard any position. And I also want to play in an offense that gets up and down the floor."

He told us that his current GPA is a 2.7.
