Triple S: Day One Rundown

MORGANTOWN, WVa. – Brandyn Curry was one of the day's top performers at the Triple S Harley Davidson Shootout.

Brandyn Curry, PG, Char. Royals – Teams searching for a point are eyeballing this Hopewell product. What do they like? The lefty has poise, vision, understanding and a calming influence on a basketball team. Mix in a 4.2 GPA and the crowd should get interesting. He's big time at the mid-major level.

Parish Grant, PG & Denzel Yard, CG, Hood Enriched – They took apart the NC Fire. Grant, a potential mid-level point didn't score a single hoop and controlled the game. He's a serious passer. Yard, a lefty, put it an attack mode and flipped in a bunch of shots.

Earnest Ross, SF/SG, NC Fire – This week is big for him as he's playing for scholarship offers. The body and size are there plus he can get to the rack. The shot was streaky on Monday and his crowd was strong.

Jalen Steele, SG, Tenn. Travelers – The junior shooting guard has a quick trigger with his jump shot and range. He's on the radar as at least a mid-level prospect with the potential to make a leap.
