Dotson Picks Up New Interest

One of the better west coast prospects at the LeBron James Skill Academy was Aaron Dotson and he certainly made the most of his opportunity in Akron. Since the event he's picked up some new college interest.

Coming off an impressive performance at the LeBron James Skill Academy, Aaron Dotson, of Seattle (Wash.) Rainer Beach, is picking up more and more college interest.

At this point he holds scholarship offers from Miami, LSU, Washington, Washington State and Gonzaga. He also has interest from USC, UCLA, Florida State and Louisville.

"It's all really even right now," Dotson, a 6-foot-4, 195-pound SG, said of his recruitment.

Once the AAU season wraps up for Dotson, he's hoping to take a few visits. Of the schools on his list, he's definitely planning to visit Louisville.

"The first week of school I'm probably going to take a visit to Louisville," he said. "Their interest is new and it's getting pretty big."

Dotson, who is ranked No. 22 on the shooting guard list, wants to have his decision made prior to the beginning of his senior season.

This coming week Dotson will close out of his AAU career by traveling with Friends of Hoop to Las Vegas (Nev.) for the Main Event and then to Los Angeles (Calif.) for the LA Best of Summer tournament.
