2010 Langford Will Play In The Big East

Josh Langford didn't have plans to make an early decision, but he picked an offer he couldn't refuse, and committed on the spot.

Josh Langford, of Huntsville (Al.) J.O. Johnson, picked up a scholarship offer from the University of Louisville and he decided to jump on the opportunity, as he committed to the Cardinals Tuesday morning.

"I really like that school," Langford said. "I've been liking them since I was little. I was saying 'don't make no early commitments' but I decided to go ahead and make it. I was real excited."

Despite living in Alabama, Langford grew up a Louisville fan. Last year the 6-foot-6 forward even attended one of Louisville's camps and took home the camp MVP award.

Langford picked Louisville over interest Miami, UAB, Memphis, Louisville, Alabama, Texas, USC, Oklahoma and Stanford.

"I'm still getting to know them, but it was a pleasure playing in front of Coach [Rick] Pitino," Langford said. "I just really want to play for Coach Pitino."

Langford is currently ranked No. 48 in Scout.com's 2010 rankings.
