"I've been following Coach Marshall since he was at Winthrop," Manigault said. "It's his coaching style and it reminds me a lot of my high school coach.
"I think they play an up tempo game. They tell me I'll play defense and distribute the ball."
Last season, Manigault averaged 12 points and 7 assists. He's a pass-first point guard with tremendous size. Wichita State had been recruiting him since the staff was at Winthrop. Their pursuit only intensified when Gregg Marshall relocated to the Midwest.
"They've got a great coliseum. They said every game last year sold out. It's going to be a loud environment at game time."
