Marshall Cuts List To Six Schools

One of the elite guard prospects in the West Coast class of 2008 has cut his list to six schools...

Anthony Marshall, 6-1 SR SG/PG Las Vegas (Nev.) Mojave, has cut his list to six schools, according to a source close to the recruitment.

Marshall's final six include UNLV, UCLA, Stanford, Baylor, San Diego State and Colorado State. Of the six, only UCLA and Stanford have not yet extended scholarship offers.

Marshall had an oustanding summer and showed a very versatile game. His jumpshot is adequate at this time, but he does a lot of other things to help his team win. He's a very good defender and an excellent rebounder for a guard. While he's only about 6-1, he plays much bigger due to his long arms and superior leaping ability. We're projecting him at the two, but it's possible he can play some point guard down the road as well.

A very good student, Marshall has previously mentioned a GPA in the range of 3.5 to 3.6.
