Devonte Elliott, 6-9 SR PF Paramount (Calif.) High, had a terrific summer and numerous schools across the country have expressed interest in him.

I spoke with Elliott recently and he gave me a list of schools that have been in contact recently.

"Gonzaga, Arizona State, SMU, Washington, Michigan, Utah State, Utah and George Washington, plus some others," said Elliott.

When asked which schools have offered a scholarship, Elliott replied, "Gonzaga, SMU, Washington, Utah and George Washington."

Elliott says he hasn't set up any visits yet.

"I have to take the test first before I can take my visits," said Elliott.

I asked him if there are any schools he's sure he'll visit when he posts the test score.

"George Washington," said Elliott.

I asked Elliott what he's looking for in a school.

"Just being comfortable, someplace that can win and has a great coaching staff," said Elliott.

When asked if he anticipates making a decision prior to November, Elliott replied, "No, I'm going to wait until spring."
