"It's going fine," Parrom said about his recruitment. "I was looking at taking some visits before I went to school, but things are getting a little hectic right now. I'm just trying to weigh all my options and give it some more time."
He took unofficial visits to UConn and St. John's a few weeks ago, and he'll take another trip to Storrs (Conn.) on August 23rd. Following that unofficial visit, Parrom will begin setting up his officials.
"The next step is to try and take a few more visits once I get to South Kent and then I want to make a decision," Parrom said.
"I haven't set up any [visits] yet because the NCAA rule says I have to be in school before I make any official visits," he continued. "I haven't really set up any yet, but I think I will at the end of September and October."
So who will Parrom visit?
"I'm planning on doing an official visit to Xavier in September and a visit to Providence before October and also to Louisville in September, but I hope to take a few more," Parrom said.
Following the visits, Parrom will hash out his decision. He's hoping to make a commitment sooner, rather than later.
"I wanted to make a decision before I go to South Kent, but I guess it's not going to happen now," he said. "I plan on doing it this year. I was trying to get it out of the way, but I guess I'll just take my time and make the right decision."
To go with the college decision he has to make, Parrom also has to adjust to going to a new high school. He leaves for South Kent (Conn.) on September 6th.
"I'm looking forward to it," Parrom said. "It should be a cool experience for me being away from home and in a better environment."
