Two weeks ago, Stewart ventured to Xavier, the A-10's flagship program. The Musketeers took a big swing and they remain in the chase. "It's a chance to go in there and play and be a big contributor to a Top 25 program as a freshman," Stewart said of "X."
His next adventure is south, to check on Wake Forest this coming weekend. The Demon Deacons have been on him as long as anyone on the list.
Two weeks after the Wake trip Stewart will travel his greatest distance of the month. The Oregon Ducks, by way of a relationship with an assistant coach, have managed to insert themselves into a leadership role with Stewart. He's been there once unofficially but this isn't a dress rehearsal, this one is an official visit.
"Right now Oregon's my No. 1 choice," Stewart said. "I love the coaching staff and the way they play.
"I've actually known them for a while. Even before when I wasn't being recruited by them, I liked (the coach). I've found out about the school, how they play and I loved the unofficial out there."
For Stewart, clearly distance won't be a factor in his final decision. He doesn't have either of the in-state schools on his mind as he's destined to relocate.
"It's nothing that will bother me; that's not an issue."
