West Coast 2010 Rankings: Centers

College coaches looking for centers in the West Coast class of 2010 may want to consider other parts of the country. The 2010 group of big men in the west is not promising as of now...

The 2010 centers in the west are a very thin group, with few guys
who project as high major prospects at this time. Smith is the easy
choice for the top spot, due to his superior skill level, great hands
and excellent approach to the game. Tyler has the size and frame that
you're looking for in a big-time post, but his approach to the game
needs to improve. His skills have not really developed in the last
year and he has a long way to go before he's ready to play in college.
Fajemisin is a raw, but very large, young post prospect. Whether he
develops the skills to play at a high level remains to be seen, but
he does have potential. Kirk is still growing into his body, but does
have a decent touch around the basket and fairly good skill level.
