Lehigh Scores Three Commitments

It didn't take long for LeHigh to complete their recruiting efforts for the 2009 class. They scored three commitment in three days.

Brett Reed and his Lehigh staff had a heck of a weekend.

Heading into Saturday, Lehigh didn't hold a single commitment. By the end of Monday the Mountain Hawks held a trio of commitments and finished up their recruiting for the 2009 class.

Gabe Knutson, who averaged nearly 20 points and eight rebounds during his junior campaign at Waukee (Iowa) High, was the first to commit to Legigh, Saturday afternoon. The 6-foot-8, 215-pound big man also had interest from Albany, Lafayette, Drake, Columbia, Princeton and American.

Just a day later Holden Greiner, of Traverse City (Mich.) Saint Francis, committed to the Mountain Hawks. A 6-foot-8, 205-pound combo forward, Greiner picked Lehigh over interest from Central Michigan, American and Columbia.

To close out their commitment streak, Reed gained a verbal commitment from Canton (Ohio) Glen Oak standout CJ McCollum. The 6-foot-1, 155-pound guard averaged 25 points a game this past season. He had interest from a handful of MAC schools.
