McRae Ends It; Heading To The SEC

Jordan McRae decided to end his recruitment early. He committed to a SEC school late Sunday evening.

Jordan McRae started his recruiting process early. He took a handful of unofficial visits, including one Tennessee. He made a return trip on Saturday, and made a verbal commitment.

"It was a good experience and it came down to Tennessee and Indiana and this is way closer than Indiana and I really liked coach [Bruce] Pearl," McRae said.

McRae, who is ranked No. 41 overall in the 2010 class, also had strong interest from Xavier, Cincinnati, Miami, South Carolina and Georgia.

"It's one of the schools he's always been interested in," Paulette McRae, Jordan's mother, said. "He can have his parents where they can see him."

McRae wasn't the only 2010 prospect to give Tennessee the nod on Saturday, Josh Selby also committed. They'll join Aaron Craft, of Findlay (Ohio) Liberty-Benton, to make up UT's current 2010 recruiting class.
