Snaer Ends Process; Announces For ACC School

Michael Snaer narrowed his list of school to three. On Friday afternoon he made his pick and announced for an ACC program.

Michael Snaer's long, grueling recruitment came to an end with a public announcement on Friday.

The 6-foot-4, 180-pound guard out of Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde picked Leonard Hamilton and the Florida State Seminoles.

This is a big addition to FSU. Snaer, who will be in the mix for a McDonald's All-American spot, is an impressive shooter from long range, plays terrific on the ball defense and is special scorer from the perimeter.

Snaer, a five-star prospect on, is ranked No. 5 at the shooting guard spot and No. 22 overall.

This commitment will likely bump Florida State's class into's top 25 recruiting class rankings. Snaer joins 6-foot-6 energy man Terrence Shannon, out of Forsyth (Ga.) Mary Persons.
