Trio Of Wings Could Announce On Wednesday

The signing period ends on Wednesday and there are a handful of wings set to announce their college decisions.

This year's signing day didn't present any surprises, and barely produced any commitments. But with the period coming to an end on Wednesday, there's still some situations that have to play out.

Among the most talked about recruitments right now is Durand Scott's. The highly regarded guard out of New York (N.Y.) Rice mapped out a plan, took some official visits and now is set to make an announcement on the last day of signing period.

The contenders in this ordeal are Miami, Connecticut and Pittsburgh.

Miami appears to be the school in the driver's seat. They've been on him the longest, but Connecticut and Pittsburgh have made late runs at him and are legit contenders in this deal.

With Scott, who is ranked No. 27 overall by Scout.com, anything could go down. He's always held his cards close to his vest and don't expect that to change. There are three schools in the mix and he could legimately end up at any of the three.

Will Wilson Announce?

Similar to the Scott situation, Jamil Wilson, a product of Racine (Wisc.) Horlick, has had a tough time coming up with his college decision.

Wilson Could Announce Wednesday
Whoever scores Wilson will pick up a heck of a prospect. The 6-foot-6, 200-pound forward is versatile, can score from the wing spot and has a good-looking stroke from long range. He's ranked No. 34 overall.

To handicap his recruitment he has it down to Marquette, Michigan State, Oregon and Texas. He's taken recent trips to Michigan State and Oregon, but word is that all four schools are truly in play.

There's a lot of mystery involved in his recruitment and at this point we couldn't make an educated guess if we wanted to.

Moser's Set To Pop At P.C.

After decommitting from Arizona shortly after Lute Olson stepped down as the Wildcats head coach, Mike Moser is ready to announce his college destination.

"It looks like he's going to make a commit tomorrow," Kumbeno "Beno" Memory, Moser's AAU coach, said. "He hasn't told me who he's going to pick."

"We are smashing all of this out in two weeks with all the crazy stuff that has happened," he continued. "It's tough for him coming out of a commitment for five months and then make this decision in two weeks."

Moser, who is No. 60 overall, recently took official visits to Oregon, USC and UCLA. He was also scheduled to visit Oregon State, unofficially.

The decision will be announced at his mother's restaurant at 5 p.m. (P.S.T.).
