Vinson Plans To Ask For Release

Due to a coaching change, Terrell Vinson is about to be back on the market. The talented big man is asking for a release.

Terrell Vinson is about to become a big target.

Originally a signee of Loyola-Marymount, Vinson has opted to ask LMU for a release because of their recent coaching switch. Bill Bayno recently stepped down due to medical conditions.

"Yeah I am [going to ask for a release]," Vinson told Scout.com in a text message.

The 6-foot-7, 200-pound forward out of Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy is ranked as the No. 25 power forward and as a four-star prospect by Scout.com.

Prior to choosing Loyola-Marymount, Vinson looked at a handful of programs including Maryland, Georgetown and Villanova.
