2010 Introduction: Aaron Bright

Aaron Bright, a 2010 point guard from Washington, is drawing interest from schools in the Pac-10, WCC and Big Sky conferences...

Aaron Bright, 5-10 JR PG Bellvue (Wash.) High, is a very good shooter and one of the top prospects in the state of Washington.

Bright told me recently that he's hearing from a variety of programs.

"Stanford, Arizona and Gonzaga have been calling a lot lately," said Bright. "Cal, Washington State, San Francisco, San Diego and Eastern Washington are also showing interest."

I asked Bright if any schools have offered a scholarship yet.

"San Diego and Eastern Washington have offered," said Bright.

When questioned about the factors he'll consider when picking a school, Bright said, "My relationship with the coaches and a place where I can contribute as a freshman will be important. Also, an offense that suits my game and also the weather."

Bright has already taken some unofficial visits.

"I've been to Stanford, Cal, San Francisco and San Diego," said Bright.

Bright has given some thought to when he'd like to make a commitment.

"I'd like to decide in the summer, either during or right after the AAU season," said Bright.

Bright said he currently has a 3.3 GPA.
